Waxing is performed by spreading a wax thinly over the skin. A cloth of paper strip is applied and pressed firmly, adhering the strip to the wax and the wax to the skin. It is then quickly removed against the direction of the hair growth.

We’re not going to lie – of course if you pull the hair out from its root it may hurt a little, and more so in some areas than others. You would expect us to say this, but waxing regrowth hurts much less than waxing full growth, so the first wax will be the worst, and the more frequently you return ( we recommend every 4 – 6 weeks) the less it will hurt (and that’s a fact).
No, please don’t. If your hair needs trimming down, we’ll do this for you as part of your treatment, so please don’t attempt this at home. Apart from anything else, you risk taking too much off which could mean we’d be unable to carry out your wax!
